A systems and analytics business, small on purpose

TGM Group builds working operational systems and analytics for site-based service contractors in South Africa, and stays on to keep them working.

What we are

TGM Group builds operational systems and analytics. The work divides into two divisions: Business Systems, which fixes how work is captured and tracked, and Business Analytics, which makes the numbers reliable enough to report from. Systems comes first and Analytics follows.

The position is narrow on purpose. We are not a generalist agency and we do not sell a house platform. We build on the tools you already run, for one kind of business: contractors with staff spread across client sites, and an outside party that wants proof.

We also stay. A report is easy to hand over and then forget. A system needs somebody to look after it. After you accept a build, an optional monthly retainer keeps it working.

Two divisions, one group

Separate capabilities, one engagement. You deal with one team and one scope, not two suppliers coordinating with each other.

TGM Business Systems

Working systems that fix a named operational failure. Registers, trackers and multi-user tools rebuilt on the tools you already run, so the work is captured once and the proof is there when someone asks for it.

  • Attendance and timesheet capture across sites
  • Compliance and certificate tracking
  • Job and project status tracking
  • Integration between the tools you already run

TGM Business Analytics

Data cleaning, dashboards and automated reporting. The work of making the numbers correct at source, so a report is a by-product rather than a monthly project.

  • Data cleaning and consolidation
  • Dashboards on your own tools
  • Automated monthly client reports
  • A single source of truth for the data you report on

Trevor G. Menyatso

Founder and director

Trevor scopes and builds every engagement personally. The diagnosis is his work, not a junior's.

His background is data. He started on a call centre floor, moved into workforce management, where he forecast call volumes and built the schedules a floor of agents runs on, and then into reporting and analytics, building the Power BI dashboards a business actually makes its decisions from. A reference from Elev8 Group credits that reporting work with a 25% improvement in reporting efficiency.

He is self-taught. Between January 2022 and February 2023 he worked full time at learning the craft: Python, SQL and database management, data modelling and DAX, Power BI and Tableau. He is currently working through the Microsoft certifications that formalise it, DP-900, PL-300 and DP-700.

That route matters for this work. Operational problems show up in the numbers long before they reach a strategy document, and they show up first to the person building the report, setting the schedule and handling the exceptions. Trevor has spent his working life on that side of the business rather than describing it from the outside.

TGM Group was registered in August 2025, so the practice is young and the track record is still being built. He would rather you judged the work on the quality of the diagnosis than on a list of logos. That is what the diagnostic is for: three weeks, a fixed fee, and a straight answer about whether a build is worth doing at all.

Siyabonga Dube

Client relationship manager

Siyabonga looks after the client relationship. He is also one of the two directors and the company's registered information officer.

His background is administration, operations and strategy. He has served as Head of Administration and Strategy, coordinating administrative functions, supporting strategic planning, working on the processes underneath both, and contributing to organisational growth. Before that, team leadership and customer service.

He holds a BA in Politics and International Relations and a BA Honours in Development Studies, and he is committed to continuous learning and to work that contributes something real to organisations and the communities they serve.

The pairing is deliberate. Trevor works on what the numbers say. Siyabonga works on whether the organisation around them can absorb the change. Most of what goes wrong with a new system sits between those two things.
